I provide independent motorcycle valuations for insurance, probate, divorce and legal purposes, working with owners, solicitors and insurers across the UK and Europe. With over 70,000 hours of valuation experience and a career spanning nearly forty years in the motor trade, my work is grounded in structured, market-led analysis developed during ten years with Glass’s Guide as the Classic Car Valuations and Motorcycle Consumer Values Editor.
I am a vetted member of the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and am regularly instructed by solicitors as both a Single Joint Expert and party-appointed expert. My reports are prepared in accordance with CPR Part 35 and FPR Part 25 and are designed to be clear, proportionate and defensible. I also work in criminal law including Proceeds of Crime and can be funded by Legal Aid.
I am the only independent valuer recommended by leading UK insurers including Adrian Flux, Classicline, Footman James, Locktons and others, and the approved valuation partner to the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. I have also contributed to BBC Radio 4 and consulted to Antiques Roadshow.
My work covers classic, vintage, modern and specialist motorcycles, from individual machines to larger collections. Instructions often involve limited or conflicting information, where condition, originality and provenance require careful assessment.
All valuations are independent, evidence-led and based on how the market actually behaves.

About Me
I’ve had a lifelong love of motorcycles, with many thousands of miles covered on two wheels. My valuation services are based on more than 35 years of motor trade experience, including twenty years as a professional used car and motorcycle valuations consultant, with ten years editing Glass’s Guide: the UK motor trade’s most trusted source of used bike valuations. The scope of data I have overseen means that I have supplied countless valuations to thousands of highly critical users over the course of my career. This is priceless experience: it matters who you trust!
