Classic Motorcycle Valuations provides independent agreed insurance valuations for UK classic bike owners and consults with enthusiasts from all over the world on the classic bike market and prices in general. I also work with solicitors and legal professionals, valuing bikes, preparing market valuations and other detailed valuation reports for HMRC and the courts, including purchase disputes, divorce settlements, probate valuations and more.
Agreed insurance valuations for classic motorcycles cost just £25 per valuation. My independent insurance valuations are accepted by all UK insurers and are valid for two years, making this service excellent value for money. My quick and easy probate valuation service costs just £55 per motorcycle (this may be discounted for collections of four or more bikes).
All other valuation consultancy is charged at a fixed hourly rate with an additional mileage charge for on-site valuations. I work completely transparently and will usually agree costs up front. Contact me to discuss your requirements.
Classic Motorcycle Valuations is completely independent. My independence guarantees stress-free insurance settlements with no conflict-of-interest issues in a claim involving dealer or mechanic valuations.
I value all classic motorcycles models including:
- All classic British bikes: Triumph, Norton, Royal Enfield, BSA and Vincent
- The epic BMW motorcycle brand back to the very first bikes
- All classic Italian motorcycles including Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Laverda and MV Agusta
- Other European manufacturers including Bultaco, Husqvarna
- All Japanese manufacturers including Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha
- Classic cruisers and bespoke custom creations
- Iconic Harley Davidsons
- Police bikes and other specialist motorcycles
- ALL CLASSIC SCOOTERS!
- Rare race bikes and part-finished restoration projects
- All historic TT bikes and rare imports
Why choose Classic Motorcycle Valuations?
My specialist independent market advice – insurance valuations, pre-sale consultancy or purchase price advice and more – is underpinned by thirty years’ motor trade experience, including twenty years as a professional used car valuations specialist with a decade spent editing Glass’s Guide: the UK motor trade’s premier source of vehicle data and market valuations. The scope of data I have overseen means that I have supplied hundreds of thousands of vehicle valuations to thousands of highly critical users in the course of my career: priceless experience.
Legal and Divorce Valuations
Classic Motorcycle Valuations provides appraisal and valuation consultancy services for legal professionals including solicitors dealing with divorce and probate valuations and purchase disputes.
I am available for instruction in an advisory capacity preparing pre-case reports or as an expert witness in court. I also work with Trading Standards officers in investigations across the UK and Ireland. My work has taken me all over Europe, helping customers to get a fair deal.
Email me to discuss litigation and appraisal services. While joint instruction is the usual method in divorce proceedings, I can work on whatever basis is required.
Do not insure your classic bike on a Market Value Policy
Would you be happy to settle for eBay prices in a total loss scenario? Data gathered from eBay and other disposal sites is not a true reflection of market value, yet this data is a big part of what an insurance assessor must use when deciding what your classic bike is worth in market value settlements.
Don’t make an expensive mistake: use our service to save thousands of pounds and many stressful months in market value negotiations.
We all think total loss will never happen to us, but more classic bikes and scooters are being stolen every year. The agonising process of negotiating an inadequate market value settlement is just not worth the stress or the few pounds saved.
