Single Joint Expert & Litigation Support

I provide independent expert witness motorcycle valuations for use in Family, Civil and Criminal proceedings. My work supports solicitors, counsel and the courts where motorcycle value is disputed, unclear or materially affects the outcome of a case.

I act as both a Single Joint Expert and party-appointed expert, preparing clear, evidence-led valuation reports designed to withstand scrutiny. All reports are independent and comply with CPR Part 35 and FPR Part 25 requirements.

Instructions range from single motorcycles to larger collections, including classic, vintage, modified and competition machines, where condition, specification, provenance and originality are central to value.

Specialist Motorcycle Valuation Work

Motorcycle valuation often involves limited comparable data, inconsistent condition reporting and highly variable markets. I am regularly instructed in cases where:

• values are disputed between parties or experts
• machines have been modified, restored or partly dismantled
• provenance or originality is unclear or contested
• motorcycles have been sold, concealed or access is restricted
• retrospective valuations are required

My role is to provide structured, independent analysis based on available evidence, supported by market data, historical research and specialist knowledge.

Desktop & Inspection-Based Reports

Where inspection is not possible, I prepare desktop motorcycle valuation reports using documentary evidence, photographs, market history and comparable sales analysis. These are commonly used in early-stage negotiations, Financial Dispute Resolution hearings and interim decision-making.

Inspection-based reports are available where required, including assessment of condition, specification and restoration quality.

Approach

My role is not to advocate, but to assist the court. All opinions are proportionate, evidence-led and grounded in real-world market behaviour.

I am accustomed to working in high-conflict and technically complex matters, including cases involving incomplete or conflicting information. This often involves reconstructing value from partial evidence and critically assessing unsupported claims.

Costs & Instructions

I am available to act as a Single Joint Expert or party-appointed expert. Fees are agreed in advance, with Single Joint Expert costs typically shared between the parties.

I work across the UK and internationally and can provide desktop reports where access to motorcycles is limited or unavailable.
